First West Counseling Center provides affordable, professional Christian counseling. You can learn practical, Biblical methods to grow through life's difficulties and how to achieve a wholeness that is based on a right relationship with God and others. We offer Marriage and Family Therapy, Individual Counseling and Group Therapy for a variety of issues. Our mission is to provide professional Christian counseling in an atmosphere of hope, healing, and restoration.
Our sessions are one hour long and usually once a week. Our fee is $49.00 per session. Scholarships are available for those who qualify. Payment is due at time of your session. First West Counseling Center is a ministry of First Baptist Church that is open to anyone in the Ark-La-Miss area. You do not have to be a member of First Baptist Church. All services are confidential within the limits of the law. All counseling will adhere to a professional code of conduct and ethics.

You may call the First West Counseling Center office between the hours of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Thursday or leave a message at any time. You may also contact us by e-mail at fwcc@firstwest.cc and we will contact you to make an appointment.

GriefShare is a Christ centered, Biblically-based hybrid program (part seminar, part share group). There is no charge for the program, but there is an optional workbook containing sheets which follow the videos and a daily "on you own" Bible study available to aid you through your journey.
