If you have a passion for kids who are at-risk, KIDS HOPE USA may offer you the strategy you need to give hope to a child. Kids Hope has been mentoring students in West Monroe and Monroe for the past 11 years, with approximately 60 mentors each year for the past two years.

KIDS HOPE USA gives First West a tested, award-winning model to meet the emotional, social, and academic needs of the children at Riverbend Elementary school. Come make a difference in the life of a child!  This school year we have an exciting opportunity to read to pre-K and kindergarten students at Crosley to help these children be on a good reading level before entering Riverbend Elementary School.

Kid's Hope needs volunteers to serve as mentors, substitute mentors, prayer partners, readers, and to help with special events.

During the 2011-2012 school year, Kids Hope needs at least 75 mentors.  There are always more students on the list than we have mentors to meet with them.
