The Sterlington/Fairbanks area is one of the most rapidly growing areas in the state of Louisiana. With the growth of area companies, the beauty of the delta region, excellent school systems and a thriving community infrastructure, this area is attracting many new families. First West Fairbanks is very excited to be a part of this growing, thriving community. We will continue to utilize the original Fairbanks Baptist Church campus. The pastoral staff as well as other administrative staff will have office hours at the Fairbanks Church building, and Wednesday night AWANA programs, and many other activities will continue to take place there as well. Sunday morning worship services will take place at the Sterlington High School at 10:30 a.m. each week, starting January 22, 2012.

The launch date of the campus will be January 22, 2012. A launch team of called-out people who sense God calling them to this new outreach will be going to First West Fairbanks. Most members of this launch team will be asked to make a one-year commitment.  If you are interested in learning more, contact our Campus Pastor, Chad Merrell, at, or call the Church Office at 318-322-5104 for ministry opportunities and important dates for prayer and planning meetings.

First West Fairbanks will function as an extension of First West-West Monroe, but will also have staff dedicated  to the Fairbanks campus.

Whether you attend the West Monroe or Fairbanks campus, we invite you to pray along with us. First, PRAY for those considering attending, serving, and leading in either of our campuses. Second, PRAY for our staff and various leaders as they plan our progress, and recruit and train volunteers. And finally, PRAY for God to prepare the hearts of all the people who will walk through the doors of either of our two campuses.
