Single Mom's Support Group
The NELA Single Mom’s Support Group is a group to support single women in Northeast Louisiana in their relationship with God and their role as mothers, while building friendships. This group meets monthly and digs into the Word of God centered around different topics that benefit the mothers in the group and their children, topics include: living on one income, meal planning, overcoming difficulties, parenting alone and many others. Service Ministry at NELA Food Bank
The second Monday each month from 6:00-7:00 at NELA Food Bank, 4600 Central Ave., Monroe.  The boxes we fill include a tag indicating “First West Singles have filled this box." We recently received a call from the NELA Food Bank who said, "Please let your singles know how very much we need and appreciate them as they help us fill boxes of food for the hungry."
