TRANSFORM WALES

God is continuing to expand the vision through our ministry in Bridgend, Wales.  The average church size in Wales is only 17 people in this nation where less than 5% of the population are Christian.  

Wales, the birthplace of one of the greatest spiritual revivals in the history of Christianity, is now a place in great need of a fresh move of God.  Today Wales is one of the least churched countries in the western world. In 2009 First West began a partnership with The Vine Christian Centre in Bridgend, Wales in an attempt to turn the tide of spiritual oppression into a revival of hope.

For the last three summers we have taken teams on trips to Bridgend where we have participated in a cultural exchange with 10 primary schools and 5 comprehensive schools. We have shared the culture and heritage of Louisiana and taught classes in music, humanities and religion. The First West Praise Band and Orchestra performed concerts in schools, churches, and other public places.  Of course, we were blessed to minister in local churches as well, encouraging fellow believers!
