First West Students exists to reach 6th-12th grade students and develop them into fully devoted followers of Christ.  There are many ways to get plugged in with First West Students, from weekly activities to big events throughout the year.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

THE BREAKDOWN • WEDNESDAYS • 6-7:15PM • STUDENT BUILDING
The Breakdown is the place to be for all Middle School students on Wednesday nights. We meet with hundreds of students for an unforgettable night each week. We have a cafe that serves Chic-fil-a, Johnny's Pizza, and all kinds of candy and drinks.

LIFE GROUPS • SUNDAYS • 8 & 9:30AM
LIFE Groups for our Middle School students are intended to grow students in their knowledge of God's Word.  At 8:00 all Middle School students meet in Room A216 for LIFE Groups.  At 9:30, our 6th through 8th grade students meet in the Student Building with an adult leader. These groups not only meet on Sundays, but occasionally meet together for fun and fellowship.

HIGH SCHOOL

ONE GROUPS • WEDNESDAYS • HOMES AROUND OUACHITA PARISH
Each ONE Group is a place for High School students to spend time together and study God's Word.  Most ONE Groups consist of a leader and 10–15 students. To find out where and what times to attend a ONE Group, contact the Student Office.

LIFE GROUPS • SUNDAYS • 8 & 9:30AM
At 8:00, all students meet in the main church building in Room A216. At 9:30, students are placed into groups of 8-10 with an adult leader in the Student Building. These groups serve as a time of discussion and application of the lesson that has been taught that morning.

THE GATHERING is an event unlike anything this area has seen. Our ONE Groups and other friends will come together several times a semester for a killer band, crazy games, awesome giveaways and a relevant talk. The Gathering takes place on selected nights in the Student Building at First West from 7:00-8:30 pm.
