What is Tithing?
A "tithe" means "a tenth part". The difference between giving your tithe and giving an offering is that a tithe is 10 percent of your income and an offering is anything you give in addition to your tithe. We tithe not because we feel like it but because God commands it and Jesus commends it. God clearly spells out in the Bible that tithing gives Him a chance to prove He exists and that He wants to bless you.
