Where do I take my children on Sunday mornings?

The best thing for your family is for each of you to attend our small group Bible study (L.I.F.E. groups) at the same time and to worship together. If you are visiting and only attending for one hour, you can bring your child with you or take him or her to the HIS KIDS area (2nd floor of the children’s building) for L.I.F.E. groups at 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. If you go up the elevator on the 2nd floor, there will be a children’s representative to help you find your child’s age graded classroom. At 10:50 a.m. we have Children's Worship in Weber Activity Center for children ages 5 to 5th grade.

Students in 6th–12th grades have L.I.F.E. groups on the 2nd floor of the education building near the median adult L.I.F.E. groups.

Where do I take my children on Wednesday evenings?

When you go to the Destiny Service, your children will go to age-appropriate worship and Bible study programs. For more information on these programs, visit the small world (preschool), His Kids (1st–5th grades) and //theaxis.cc (6th–12th grades) sections of this website. We also have one Wednesday night a month called Family Night in which we have supper and a time of fellowship in Tennison Hall beginning at 5:00 p.m. Dr. Avant leads us in a family devotional and then the children are dismissed to go to their activities while the adults remain for Destiny.

Do you have childcare for infants and toddlers?

Yes! We have a nursery with a loving and qualified staff. The nursery is a safe place to leave your infant–4-year-old while you attend L.I.F.E. Groups and Worship Services on Sundays and Wednesdays. There is no cost to keep your child in the nursery while attending regular church services. Many Bible Studies and other special events also offer free or low-cost childcare, contact the leader of the class or event to find out about whether childcare is provided for that event.
