Kid's On Mission - KOM

Each KOM meeting will feature an engaging mission video, a memory verse, and either a mission activity or mission report from a First West Mission Team member. As stated before, grades will be separated into two groups, grades 1-3 and grades 4-5. The groups will alternate between Missions and Music on a quarterly basis. Thus in January we will start KOM with grades 4-5, and grades 1-3 will begin April. Adults have the opportunity to participate in the Destiny Service held in the Worship Center each Wednesday Evening.

We need Adult Workers!

You can volunteer to work full time every Wednesday of the year or you can volunteer to work alternating quarters with the age group you are most comfortable with. That way you could attend Destiny every other quarter.  All workers' backgrounds are checked and training is provided. In addition to the KOM curriculum we will create or locate additional resources and activities related to each evening’s episode. We have a stack of mission activity books we can use, and we are sure a creative group can come up with many more ideas.
