First West
welsh mission

We exist to see people changed by the Gospel and living out their Christ-centered purpose. At First West, our vision is played out by our threads: worship, community, and service. Service demands sacrifice. On top of our partnerships, we are sending missionaries to work around the globe. Some of our missionaries' images are not on this page to protect their identity.

David & Lynn, with their 2 daughters, live in Slovenia and assist with church planting.

Jim and Angie Grime, with their 2 sons, live in Germany and work as church planters among the Turkish peoples in Europe through the International Mission Board.

Ashton & Christy McIntyre, with their 2 children, are transitioning to Nicaragua to work to reach unreached people groups with the Gospel. They will be in language school in Costa Rica for the next year.

Larrese and Alicia Rollins are planting a church in a community in Monroe, Louisiana in 2019. They are developing their core team as the look forward to building relationships in the Burg Jones Lane neighborhood.

Kathy G. is an XMA missionary who lives in West Monroe and leads mission teams to unreached people groups.

Abby Smith serves in Wales in children and student ministries. She works as an intern with Missional Links Wales.

Courtney Anding-Konstantinidis along with her husband Tolis and their two children, lives in Greece. They work with children through the ministry of a church-based community center. They are also working towards planting a church.

Kay Frost serves in Tanzania and works to develop ministry leaders there in student ministries.

Rob Burns serves as a missional leadership consultant in Wales. He is a catalyst for developing U.S. and Welsh church partnerships.

Owen Hughes serves in Wales as a key mobilizer of churches in our Welsh partnership. He also serves as a student pastor at a church there.
