Prayer is vital to a Christian's walk with God. Often we find it hard to sit still, or maybe we think we have to kneel and use special words in order to talk to God. There are so many misconceptions about prayer in the world today that alot of people just give up on praying or only pray when they have exhausted every other avenue of help and cannot do anything else.
Developing a rich relationship with God through prayer is one of the most faith-strengthening and rewarding experiences you will have on earth. At First West, we have seen prayer at work and continuing to work in the lives of our members and throughout the world.
You may attend the Destiny Service on Wednesday nights in which we pray and share praise reports and testimonies from answered prayers. Perhaps what you experience in the Destiny Service is something you want to live not just on Wednesday nights, but every day. How can I be a part of the Prayer Ministry?
Aaron's Army, Altar Intercessors, Men's and Women's Hour of Prayer...within the prayer ministry, we have several groups that come together at different parts of the week to pray for specific needs in our church and community. We believe in prayer and we want you to experience the overflowing richness it can bring to all areas of your life and the life of those you pray for! The Intercessory Prayer Room—where battles are won
The purpose of the Intercessory Prayer Room Ministry is to bring glory to God by interceding in prayer for others. Prayer Warriors individually come to the prayer room throughout the week to lift up the prayer requests submitted to the prayer room.
